I recently Found out that GM is going to discontinue these cars coming 2019:
Cadillac XT6
Cadillac CTS
Chevy Cruze
Chevy Volt
Chevy Impala
Buick LaCrosse
Are their any deal regarding these cars coming around now? Preferably the Cruze.

Probably deals on purchases, but not leases (as RV would probably be terrible).
Hate to see the Impala go and the Caddy XTS i actually liked them.
Pretty huge thread on here already about GM’s cuts. As Jon said, expect deals on purchases and not leases. Cruze purchase deals are already rather fantastic if you have a current GM lease and Costco ($6500 in rebates)
Thx for this info!
It may be better to have a separate thread for more specific info
Aren’t people getting cruze deals sub-100 though?
That was almost two years ago… A lot has changed. The deals aren’t going to be on leases, as we have said twice now. GM isn’t going to want to deal with having thousands of off-lease cars they no longer make to deal with
The volt and Cruze has leased decent in the last few months, but nothing earth shattering. Nothing else on that list provided anything close to a good lease. Look for finance incentives to clear them out. GM isn’t going to want them back at term.
Edit…somehow missed @BoardWalkNJ ‘s thread directly above that essentially said the same thing. Oops.
Yet to see any decent deals on Volts here in So Cal.
Trish has offered plenty of decent deals, so they’re out there
Waiting…
I tend to agree that GM will go with purchase incentives, not lease incentives, to move these vehicles. They probably won’t monkey much with the offers at first in order to see if people who really want one appear before pushing on them.
Remember also these are not all canceled immediately. The shutdowns are spread out over most of 2019. All those cars are still being made at the moment.
I would treat this like looking for deals on end of model year cars. Several times I’ve gotten killer deals on cars by picking up last years models on cars where the new model is a major change or update. The key in doing that is timing your move so you hit in the middle of the incentives while there is still sufficient stock to have some choices.
If you are interested in one of them note the end of production dates and start tracking inventory over your area. You want to know the base level of cars and then see how fast they are dropping. That will help you see how quickly the inventory is clearing. Also start looking to see if there is a sudden appearance of current model year cars listed as used. Those are likely loaners and demos. I like to use Cargurus.com to do that but other sites can do the same thing. Watch the makers sites or someplace like Edmunds.com to see the incentives being offered. If you have a high volume dealer in your area known for deals keep an eye on them. For Volts, Cruze and Impala someone like @chevysalesgirl here will probably be a good resource to watch too.
I got spoiled with my $65 a month LTZ Cruze lease a few years ago.
