I have looked at the handy GM Dealer Workbook(thanks a ton to whoever was 1st) and the numbers for 36 month crew cab Silverado 4x4 RST were at 58% base (61% 10k)and .00203. Just was on Edmunds forums and saw them quote better numbers so I asked. They said that they show 65% .00176. Those guys are always spot on. Do they adjust numbers mid month? If so I’m back to hacking tonight.
Thanks
Chevygirl, gmgene, tahoetim, knowitallNJguy, Mcfly??? Anyone have any answers or help on this? Thanks
Not always. I’ve seen a few instances where edmunds was wrong but it is rare.
I’m hoping they are right, gonna call a dealer in a few. Thanks
I’d bet money they’re wrong on this one. No Silverado trim is higher than 61% for 36/10 this montj
Edmunds is wrong a lot
Yes I have had issues as well
I went to Chevy site and built the one I want. Picked lease option and used payment and details and it came to the rate edmunds quoted. It also showed the apr they quoted which was 1.5 higher a week ago. Waiting on dealer to reply. The top secret book has not changed since 1/3 and shows the rates I had been quoted 2 weeks ago.
Not likely. The GM Workbook is GM’s bible. It’s not likely to change midstream.
If it would’ve changed, the Bible would have been updated.
Needless to say… of course it would.
Thank you guys for pointing me to the workbook
Thanks for your confirmation ![]()
You’re very welcome!
And, you too, are very welcome!
@kalf edmunds is correct. it was effective the 14th. this does not always happens and silverados are GM’s baby so they will adjust anything they need to to move them. it shows some other cars are adjusted as well.
Looks like we all stand corrected and the online bible isn’t updated for whatever reason. Thanks @chevysalesgirl
Thanks chevysalesgirl!
Maybe it was updated via an addendum that we don’t get to see. If there are only a few changes, they’re likely to update only the pages that need revision.
I’ve seen them update online as well. Don’t know what their criteria is one way or another.
