GLC 300 Lease 2019

2019 GLC 300 4Matic
MSRP $50,985
Negotiated Price: $42,684
36 mo lease; 12K

Is it 1267 out of pocket or 1267 down?

It’s the amount of the first payment up front. Don’t sure what the difference is

I like the GLC I just feel like there’s so much more out there for the money. It’s amazing they’re so popular.

What do you think is a good competitor and why?

So should I buy or lease? Is this a good deal on the car?

It’s very difficult to say. You need to provide MSRP, Cap Cost, RV, MF.

At first look seems a mediocre at best deal. $633 effective on a $51k common car is not great at all. It’s about average (outside the confines of this site) or a little worse than average.

There’s a ton of room to do better. Search here for GLC deals. Where are you located?

I don’t know what taxes you’re paying but that payment is high for the level of discount. They’re almost certainly marking up the MF while distracting you with the discount.

I drove 4 or 5 GLC300 loaners when I had my GLC43, and I would go with the Stelvio and pocket the change. Saving $4-5k and getting a more enjoyable vehicle to drive is an easy choice.

I added more details to the original post.

For Cali and those low taxes that payment is too high. You might get a better deal if they have any remaining 2018 models. Check what incentives are being applied, do you qualify for Fleet, loyalty, etc. General aim with the GLC300, Q5, X3 with an MSRP around $50k is $500p/m (plus tax) with zero down payment so factoring your 12k mileage you’re about $80p/m over.

At this time of year if you’re a little flexible then getting a very good deal in Cali should be fairly straightforward, you just have to speak to more dealers.
