GLC 300 good deal?

Hi all - new to the forum and really enjoying it thus far. Looking to get compact luxury suv in next month and focused on GLC but open to X3/Q5. How does the below deal look? Any better options for X3/Q5. Thanks in advance.

MSRP - $50795
Invoice - $46795
36/7.5k
MSD - 5000
Out of Pocket - 6970
MF - .00093
$440 per month

You need to specify how much of the out of pocket costs are cap cost reduction (down payment) so people can evaluate it. Also, are the 5000 in MSDs included in the out of pocket costs?

Also, what is the selling price? Are they giving it as the invoice price?

$3143 is cap cost reduction (part of MB promo)

$5000 in MSDs would be separate and incremental to amount I listed.

Selling price is the price I negotiated so I guess that’s “invoice”?

Thx for your clarification questions.

So if it’s $6,970 out of pocket with $3,143 being CCR, what else makes up that amount?? As you’ll see on this forum, it is HIGHLY ill-advised to put that much money down on a lease - if the car is totaled or stolen, there is the high potential to lose all of that money.

Terrible. Next.

Don’t put down 3k.
What is part of that 6.9k?

So your actual out of pocket cost is near 12k. Even if you do get the MSDs back at the end, that is a huge amount.

Just keep in mind that a MB promos are just that. If you don’t want to put money down, they can’t force you. Do not use any money towards CCR. See if you can get a better selling price. These don’t tend to lease well, so might be a little difficult.

Like other said, this is a very expansive lease. $3143CCR => $87/month for 36 month => zero down list payment will be ~$527. That that 7.5k miles and $50K MSRP seem like not a good deal at all.

Can you find out what is selling price, residual value, and as other said, what does that $6790 cover? We can make better assessment with those info.

Thanks all. I’ll look for further information. When you say selling price, I think it’s $46795.

Is there any hope for a better deal on a MB SUV or should I take my money elsewhere?

You can do better. Do you need all those options? They start at like 42k.

What dealer is this?

Tristate area NY based. Unfortunately I do want the options. Any suggestions on how to get a better deal?

Can you share the dealer? Looking for a dealer that will use MSDs for a NYC resident for a 300C

Any further feedback on how to do better? If I have a fleet enhancement of $1500 off, will that come off the negotiated price? What are standard deal prep fees?

For whatever it’s worth, I just signed up for a $46,630 MSRP GLC300 that I negotiated down to a $38,950~ sales price. Dealer said they were losing money on the deal because they were trying to hit a sales contest number.

Ended up being a true sign & drive 36/12 with $0 down @ $547/Month.
This was in SWFL the last day of the month after the rainiest memorial day weekend in history.

You should try Merc Benz Princeton if you can travel the extra 40 miles. Speak to Alex and i’m sure you would get a better deal from them.

547 a month on 46k car with negotiated sales price of 39k is pretty steep. Can you post all the other number such as MF, fees etc ? They have hidden a ton of fees I suspect.

This is a quote I got when I was looking last week in LA.

MSRP----------------------$43,465
INVOICE----------------$41,444
PRICE------------------$38,244
FLEET REBATE—$1,250
MSD’S---------------$5,000
DUE AT SIGNING-$6,089.13 (Includes MSDs)
MONEY FACTOR–0.00029
7,500 MILES PER YEAR
3 YEAR LEASE
$390.30 PLUS TAX
TX-37.08
TOTAL-$427.38

Another dealer confirmed similar numbers. Would be as good as it gets on this car.

what is the RV for this car? all the number make except the payment make sense unless RV is very low.

Experts,

Please guide if this deal makes sense 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300.

MSRP ---- $ 47995
INVOICE ---- $ 39819.97
GROSS Capitalized Cost ---- $ 44204.97
3 year / 30000 mile Lease
Total — $ 528.28 (Including Taxes) / Month
Signing Amount ---- $ 3000 (Zero MSD)

Add Ons Included:

  • Excess Wear Tear (MBenz) $ 2195
  • 3 year 30000 mile (MBenz) $ 1000

Why would you put $3,000 but not do MSDs? That $3,000 will be lost if the car is totaled or stolen whereas the MSDs would not be lost and could potentially bring the MF down quite a bit.
