I’ve read a few posts on here about getting out of a Chase lease, specifically Subarus.
I leased a 2018 Outback Premium in August and I LOVE the car but I’m moving across the country and can’t take it with me. It’s an unexpected move and honestly, I wish I had just purchased the car so I could sell it. Or I wish I had leased a car I could swap.
How do you get out of a lease through Chase, that does not allow swaps?
Car has 7,000 miles on it and in perfect condition. Has all of the bells and whistles. I leased it WAY below dealer invoice so the Chase buyout number online is almost 5k more than my original lease.
Can I buy it from the dealer? I have no idea how any of this works since it’s my first car.
Can I trade the car in at another dealership?
Thanks for your help!
