Trying to get a one pay lease with Genesis due to an unexpected vehicle total loss. Dealer trying to tell me Hyundai is no longer offering 1 pay discounts? Anyone able to provide any validation or evidence this is false? I did have other dealers offer me one but yet to get a good MF.
Sign up as a super supporter and you can get access to that information, as well as full lease program information (RV, MF, rebates) for every OEM & Model.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. I’m not showing anything. You were asking where to find the MF, and I suggested how you can do so using Ratefindr.
You seem to imply a MF/RV discrepancy. What are you seeing on Ratefindr vs elsewhere and in which zip?
Also, to clarify, MF and RV are set by the captive bank. Besides the Dealer being able to mark up a MF, the buy rate MF and the RV are the same for everyone in a given region on a given Year, Make, Model, Trim, and term combination.
As @jm020 mentioned, the base rate is set by the lessor and the rv is dependent on the term as in 24/10 or 36/12 will all have different RV’s. Many lessors also have different RVs for different trim levels.
The value add of being a super supporter is so you can look these figures up on the spot versus the alternative of posting in the appropriate forum on Edmunds and waiting a few hours for the reply.
5 quotes all with MF drastically lower than what you list in the tool and all 5 of your residuals in the 50s no matter what I pick for miles . I asked what a good rate was and was pointed to this tool which as I stated, doesnt add much value. All of my quotes look better han this. Been a member here for years, used to be an regular lessor of vehicles. DIdnt realize asking a question needed these attacks because you didnt like my response.
In reading my response or the other one, certainly didn’t mean for it to come across as an attack.
Can you post these quotes you received so we can get to the bottom of why they have differing mf / rv numbers than what the LH data provider is showing in Rate Finder?
What trim level?
At least according to RateFinder, when I tried for 7500 miles, it reverted to 10,000 miles most likely meaning Genesis doesn’t offer a 7500 mile program.
The 24 month is 15K - I want to have it for three years. It’s my wife’s vehicle and I dont want to go through this again that soon
The breakdown was 50,182 after savings. May be 1k of conquest of Alfa in that, not sure.. $599 for tint, 3630 sales tax and fees, 899 doc fee, 199 elec filing fee, 46 registration title and lemon law. Final price is $55,525.13
Review the contract before you sign. One pay lease with Genesis AKA Hyundai Finance doesn’t favor the customer when the car got lost or totaled.
Maybe something change but i remember this and this post.
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what the ratefindr tool is doing for you and you’re taking someone asking clarifying questions to help you better understand it as an attack.
The purpose of asking to see the quotes you’re referencing is to help identify the mismatch between what you’re being offered and what you’re searching for in the tool. A partially filled out calculator with made up numbers because you don’t know the mf, etc, doesn’t help and it does you a disservice if your goal is to try to minimize your cost.
You pay money for access to resources that can help you save money if you leverage them properly.
I have no misunderstanding at all. The condescending attitudes never used to be something I experienced on the site. It used to be a collaborative educational place.
Rest assured - ill find the info i need elsewhere from now on.
Go back and review my initial question and the encouragement to become a paying member to get the answer which added no value to my process.
