Genesis G80 Sport 3.3T AWD

I got a quote for $790/month ($51,500 sales price) in Texas

That includes $100 of Texas sales tax, so quote would be $690 in other states

36 months on a G80 Sport

I said… NO

G80 sport demo 310 miles. 36/12k. Zero down. Zero DAS. 575/month. Almost did a little better than that. As the inventory dwindles demos have the right discount. Keep trying.

What state?

CA. The more I pursued the car, the more I wanted it. Went through some hell at the dealership regarding cosmetic fixes and regional sales tax, but I still feel it’s a sweet deal!

When is your Genesis up? Can’t remember if you had a ‘15 or ‘16. Keep an eye out for the G70 next spring

It was up in August. Going month by month now. Tags are due and winter is coming. Both my cars get driven less in the winter due to travel/ holidays and winter weather. So I am thinking of just turning it in and going with one car for a few months since I am not sure what to get just yet.

I really liked the G80 when I drove it too, but couldn’t get past the payments it’d require. There are a lot of other cars out there that seem to lease much better.

Gotcha. You can always just pick up a cheap 3 series or C class. But I think it’s wise to wait it out a little longer. Nothing really popping off the page right now.

I saw a guy get a good deal on a CT6 and I might look into one of those. Just hate the GM 39 month lease.

Agree. Would be sick if you can find one though. When my Genesis is up I really want to find another $40-50k MSRP car in the $200s again. If nothing is available I’ll probably do the same thing you did til I land something. How does the month to month work?

You call them, they send you a DocuSign to agree to extend your lease. Easy.

I would only get the CT6 with the 3.0t. It’s how I roll.

I looked at a E300 today and it felt so small. The fake leather seats were really lame. On a $71,000 car. I would rather have nice cloth.

Do you remember what dealership? I’m looking at a bunch of demo g80 sports in SOCAL and that’s the best I’ve seen. Highest I was quoted 882

It was Garden Grove Hyundai. Even now, I really can’t figure out how they got their price so low. Residual is fifty to fifty-one percent. Got a good MF on good credit. The selling price became key and I’m not sure what rebates/hold back stuff factored in. There aren’t a lot of these units with low enough miles to lease as new. I know that Poway Hyundai may still have one, but not sure what they’re gonna do about discounting it.

Yeah that number is still perfect cause I went to Temecula Hyundai and the selling price was around 44k and it was 0 down 0 drive off For 684 a month I still felt that was too much for a demo . I got my s90 t6 for 454 with 0 down so Hyundai is smoking haha

I don’t think they’re going to be moving very many of these any time soon.
