Genesis G80 RV/MF

Year: [2017]
Make, Model, and Trim: [Genesis G80 3.8 AWD Base]
Months/Annual Mileage: [36/12K]
Zip Code: [13041]

Can you please provide the current RV/MF. I qualify for the Hyundai Circle Club Plan A which discounts the cars sale price. The dealer I’m working with is stating that using this program actually changes the RV/MF for the worst compared to the current lease programs. Does this make any sense?

Original they said the RV/MF for the structure above was 56%/.00094. When I mentioned that I qualified for this program they stated it changes to 54%./.00099.

Any help?

2017 Genesis G80 AWD

36/12K: 56% RV, .00094 MF

All: $2,240 lease cash
Targeted: $1,000 competitive owner, $1,000 loyalty, $500 military, $500 BoostUp, $400 grad

Not familiar with the Circle Club A. The change in MF in .00094 to .00099 doesn’t amount to much. The 2% drop in residual, however, will cost you $1,000 or so over the lease. There’s no benefit to the dealer for lowering the residual – and I’m not sure they can – so perhaps it’s true.

Okay, Thanks,

Here is the original quote:

MSRP: $44,905
Selling Price: $43,500
Rebates: $2,250(lease cash) & $1,000(Conquest)
36/12K: 56% RV, .00094 MF
$800 down, $449 month including tax (8.25%).

I stated that I have the circle club which prints me out a certificate for the following to show the dealer:

MSRP: $44,905
Invoice:$42,887
Circle Club Discount: $1,318.65
Hyundai Circle Cash: $250
New Selling Price: $41,318.35

They came back and stated that the deal changes if I use the circle club pricing and the month price actually goes up. Additionally, they stated that they made a mistake on the original quote and is should be more around $529 a month.

I hate this whole process. Other dealers have quoted me upwards of $595 a month so I just don’t know how realistic of a deal I can get when they are all over the place.

500+ a month for a Hyundai?! No Bueno… look into a 5 series, which I believe can be had for the sake if not less money…

It’s $414 before tax with 1st month and minimal drive-off fees (which mean the majority are baked into the monthly payment), which is pretty reasonable IMO for a deal in January…apples to apples, a brand new 535i will probably be a lot more.
