the threads are many, but no data on money factor and residual that I can find of recent vintage on the T5. Don’t want a T6.
found a May number for near my zip at .00048 and 51%.
T5 MOM AWD. comes in the lease calc at $308.
I’ll go tmrw. See what comes. Thanks for the info.
Negotiate over email
DO NOT GO IN. Waste of time. Email first.
Yes, they will most likely not give you 10% off before rebates if you go in. Best to do that over email or hire a broker.
OK. Waiting on an email now.
Email multiple dealers
am I correct that the R% is not negotiable, only the MF, and incentives/purchase price?
link is bad, but I found it. thanks. so much research …
how do I know what fees & incentives are taxed? seems a blurry line.
acquisition? docs?
ahhh … it’s NY, of course I’ll be taxed.
for the Sonata, would I qualify for 3 incentives if I lease? 2 rebates and lease cash
https://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/sonata/2018/incentives/
can’t be. I’d guess MSRP less whatever I can plus the $3500 lease cash.
Use the Hyundai payment calculator that follows build and price to see incentives in your area
thanks. didn’t run the 1st couple times. guess the website was updating or choked.
assumptions:
3000 off msrp which is doable
3500 lease cash is taxable (NY taxes everything)
MF 0.00114, RV = 54% from edmunds
dmv fees of 200 (estimated)
tax rate of 8.625% (from you)
option 1: driveoff = 1768 + 35 additional payments of 289
option 2: zero driveoff + 35 additional payments of 339
this is just an OK deal; i wouldn’t pay any more than the above numbers…your money…GL
yea, seems the S90 is a better deal so far.
if these numbers are real. still waiting.
dunno where I’m screwing up here.
Got a quote: $31430 MSRP, sell $25000, $4000 rebate included. 36 mo/10k
Acq and doc $650 & $495 in lease.
.00154 MF
53 Resid %.
It’s out of state so sales tax is on me.
I get $198, they say $317. What’d I do wrong?
And it’s no better than the 1st deal in NY at $316.
Your numbers don’t make sense. Are you double counting the rebate? $198 * 36 = $7128, which doesn’t even cover the depreciation ($8342) of that lease.
dunno what I did wrong.
ran in thru the calc.
