Yes but stopped when they decided to remove rankings and try and make it like COD.
Finally was able to order my 3080. Had to get the stockdrop bot alerts in discord to find one in stock. Have a nice new 49" G9 display also.

Assuming you can find a 3080 soon, you could probably upgrade for a couple hundred after selling your 2080ti.
I’ve been replaying RDR2 on PC. Really great game by Rockstar, although I kind of didn’t like that no matter what path you choose before the end with Arthur, it still ends that way. I’m really hoping that they might announce GTA 6 sometime next year. A lot of people were saying that it’s going to happen in October of this year since they did that in the past but it looks like we are not getting anything this year

More than fair. I’m still waiting for an excuse to move from Intel and Nvidia to an all AMD platform.
Yea, i gotta check out the 2nd hand market for my 2080, i just assumed values were insanely low since the 3080s undercut the pricing so much
Finally after months of hunting, was able to order RTX 30…

I’m waiting on Cyberpunk 2077 to be benchmarked with the new Nvidia and AMD cards to see where the bang for buck comes in at. Then wait for the new year for prices to even out. Probably end up with a 3070/6800. Can’t stomach paying top dollar for my minor usage.
I bought The Long Dark years ago but only started playing a few weeks ago, it’s a good survival game. I regularly go back to Civ4, FTL, Fallout 3.
Currently setting up my media room with my Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, etc.
When I lived in Edinburgh I was a games tester for Rockstar North back in the GTA3 days.

Believe me, I was just as surprised as you are. Built my latest PC in 2017, when power efficiency in video cards was all the rage. It’s Evga SuperNova 80+ Gold all right, just 650W.
Smh power efficiency while running a massive power consuming machine.
