After negotiating a lease for a 2018 Expedition (Demo), but prior to my actual signing my father received a $3000 PCO in the mail. So my question is 3 fold
Will the PCO work on the Demo?
Will they allow me to use my fathers PCO?
Will the dealer have any apprehension in applying the PCO after negotiating previously agreed to but not yet signed terms?
dealer might try to sneak some of that pco into their profit margin, you can either be shady and not present the pco until you get to the finance office and be “that guy” or take your chances and let them know beforehand. This depends on how often you plan to deal with the dealer in the future.
I agree with you. You wannaget then to their bottom dollar price and also make sure they show you all the incentives and what they are called right next to the amounts. Then you pull out the ford private cash offer else they will go back into their office and come back with the private cash offer included but take back of some of their dealership incentives to balance out to the exact amount they were discounting prior to you showing them the private cash offer. Happened to me two years ago when I waited for their bottom dollar and then even got them to show me the discount amount but they took my offer and went back and wanted to fight me by claiming their system shows them all offers and incentives, eventhe ones I’ve signed up for through fords website but I honestly thought that was BS because they had the private cash offer at the bottom of the list when they were doing their calculations. It’s was their word against mine so I had to just agree. My mistake was not asking to see the break down of all the incentives amounts and to show which are dealer and manufacturer.
