Ford Maverick Orders - Now MY2024

The only Ford dealer that seems to know wtf they are doing w/r/t orders is National City.

Damn I have mav hybrid coming in soon. Someone pays me 5k they can have it.

Are they accepting orders? I havent been able to find one willing to place an order at msrp.

Many dealers will not be able to order 24 mavericks if they have 23 rollover orders. Might not have enough allocations. Try finding a small town dealer or go out of state.

Didn’t seem to have an issue here in MA though less than last year willing to take xplan and quite a few marking up.

My rollover 23 > 24 still will be 3% below invoice + private offer. Couldn’t find xplan for 24s but local dealers in NY offered msrp on 24 orders.

Spill the tea on them

Picking up my September order today. Was scheduled 7/19 according to the Ford Tracker and arrived to the dealer on Monday.

Sticker MSRP is about $500 higher than when I first placed the order. I’m still waiting on the final OTD price but was told MSRP deal when I first placed it. Trading in my Mach E, I’m hoping they’ll give me a fair number since they’ve absolutely tanked.

Fair number or not, I don’t think you’ll like what you see lol. Prayers up for you brother

thank you both! need all the prayers I can get haha. will report back on how I do.

Anyone with roll over my23 to my24 the private offer could make your my24 build cheaper than my23.

I found this as a funny reason why the dealer has to sell custom orders if the customer does not pick up within 72 hours:

Really? Especially on super popular models like the Maverick hybrid? And last I checked… lots are not super crowded with inventory right now.

And I wonder if the markup on it was $10k (not the $5k they gave to the guy).

The lots for many San Diego-area dealers only hold a fraction of the dealer’s inventory due to astronomical real estate costs.

Much of the inventory is often stored offsite.

Probably the case here given the location. Although why not store a sold order offsite until just before the customer comes in to sign?

… which reminds me that I haven’t been to Phil’s BBQ in 10 years.

I’ve only been once and didn’t get it. Waited in line for almost an hour and I found zero gold inside the food.

I assume that we are in post supply chain issues so maybe there are space considerations for dealer lots but yes… if it’s a custom order… why even put it on the sales lot. I just know in SoCal, there aren’t many Mavericks on lot… so it sounds like a fishy excuse… esp because many Cali dealers would sell blessed Mavericks very quickly (got a call once for a customer order Maverick that was refused and in the 15 minutes it took for me to get there… they sold it for +$10k).

The appeal is elusive to me as well.

I have friends who are true believers, though.

My general rule is

I don’t wait for a table
A table waits for me

Thoughts on why the 22 to 24 credit for hybrid xlt is less than 23 to 24??

Its not less. The my22 + my23 credits get combined for my24 orders. They benefit most in this case.

You drop a pin at Mossy Ford, feet from the Original Rubio’s :tropical_fish::taco: , and lament about Phil’s BBQ?

There is much better BBQ than Phil’s
