I think you’re going to have a tough time with this. Doesn’t meet the 1% rule.

Can you put a deal together for the Fusion Sport?

thanks for the advice hopefully better incentives soon! Guess that’s why I don’t see a lot of Fords here…

Yes!! Will do for sure

Yes it seems Ford does not want to lease as many vehicles as GM. GM incentives add up fast after stacking Lease cash/incremental regional cash, bonus tags, loyalty/conquest, farm bureau, and GM card earnings.

Glad to see more dealers on the forum. I appreciate you providing the breakdown. Might want to add RV as well. Gonna be a hard sell on this site, but if someone is really looking for a fusion then this is great info. Thanks!

Sorry, I’m new, but what is the 1% rule? thanks

Rule of thumb:

A good lease payment is nothing out of pocket (or just first month payment due) and less than 1% of the MSRP. So a $30,000 MSRP vehicle should lease for less than $300 per month to be considered a good deal. It is just a gauge, doesn’t mean it has to be this way.

Makes sense. I figured that’s what it was, but wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Edit: So 1% before including tax, or 1% all in?
