The salesperson doesn’t seem knowledgeable about this program. On a ford ranger there is 0.9% /38 months available. On the flex pay is there any low interest rates available ? TY
Internet strangers have access to the same info you do. I just googled “Ford flex buy”. You can share this info with the salesman: https://www.ford.com/finance/finance-options/#flexbuy.
There was no specific info about interest rates for the Ranger.
You can always find another dealership that is more knowledgeable about this program.
If you need something in that segment, why wouldn’t you lease a Frontier instead of buying a Ford?
Yes, I did google and find that. I was hoping for some sort of info on the interest rate. Thanks for thinking with me.
Anyway- another dealer is not an option. I am hoping there is a Ford rep who can answer this. I like to just go in and buy and not ask questions that they don’t know. I have had much success selling my cars to vroom/carvana- and it is so much easier owning vs lease when selling. When I buy a base ranger with the $1500 factory order rebate and 0.9% finance- at the end of three years/ selling at peak April season- I expect to effectively own the truck for less than the frontier. I understand no one can know the future- but I feel lucky that it will work out. Another factor is I put very little mileage on the truck. well below 10K a year.
You expect to, unless their resale takes a dive, etc, then you won’t. You lease to protect against that. If you’re cool rolling the dice, go for it.
I did talk to a different dealers finance person. He typically sees interest of 4.9 and more on these loans. No promo 0.9 0r 1.9% rates.
I had a dealer look into that financing option and the numbers they were terrible if my memory is correct the monthly was close to doing a traditional loan.
