Ford Explorer Platinum Leasing... with X-Plan?

Right now it seems like the Explorer Platinum is leasing pretty decently…

10.5k/year:
24/10 = 0.26% APR and 63% Residual
36/10 = 0.75% APR and 57% Residual

I’m having a lotta trouble doing the math trying to decide between utilizing my employee X-Plan vs going with the dealership’s advertised discount.

If I compare the MSRP and discounts side by side, Xplan comes out to about $11 more.

BUT. I’m told that Xplan allows you to not have a Dealer fee and other fees. The ‘other fees’ are what I’m not clear on.

Does anyone know if an acquisition fee applies if you purchase with Xplan? Any other benefits for going with Xplan vs not?

I know this is stupid… but I have to confirm.

When we say divide the lease APR… what is the appropriate math?

the Lease APR I’m looking at for example is 0.28%.

So is this 0.0028/2400?

Or is it 0.28/2400?

It’d think it’d be the first one but I want to be 100% certain?

Likely the first one, but even that sounds a bit high = 6.72% Definitely not the second.

the number shown is the APR, not the MF.

I’ve got the APR (thats how Ford publishes their lease rates) I need to convert it to MF to come up with a payment…

It’s .0001 x 2400= .24%
