I have been trying to figure out whether Ford Credit allows Multiple Security Deposits. The answers online seem to suggest the answer is no, but according to Ford Credit, the answer is actually yes.
Posting this info (and my attached correspondence) for anyone else interested in applying MSDs to a lease with Ford Credit.

The short answer is no not in the traditional fashion.
MSD is icing on a layer cake that layers a combination of discount, rebates, RV and MF.
Does Ford have something worth applying icing to?
Because otherwise this discussion is moot as MSD doesn’t do much by itself.
Fair enough, BUT, having seen a ton of misinformation and incorrect information online, I thought it would be a reasonable public service to share what I learned from Ford Credit. MSDs are available from Ford Credit and who’s to say if/when Ford will have discounts/rebates/RV/MF that are tempting.
People get PCOs, x-Plan pricing, etc. from Ford all the time and, it turns out, can add MSDs to the equation as well.
They may offer/require MSDs, but is there any benefit when applying some MSDs (ie lowering the MF)?
