I’m in Illinois and I am looking to lease a Bronco but to me the lease deals are not favorable, is there anyway I can get the dealer to give a better deal then what’s online, or any tactics I can use to get the lease? Any advice helps as I am trying to get one if not will try for a F150 lease. Don’t want to be over 600 at most. Also how do I get a one pay deal?(is that one lump payment and not monthly? Keep seeing this term)
Are you in Chicago? The tax situation there makes leasing very unappealing.
I think the consensus opinion here is that setting a target deal and making the dealer an offer (rather than asking for an offer) is an effective way of negotiating. Have you checked broker ads here in Marketplace and looked through Signed Deals & Tips to see what might be possible?
First thing to understand about hacking is that you can only hack a hackable vehicle.
Unless you can find evidence in Signed Deals & Tips or Marketplace then these are not hackable
they dont lease well
There have been some sweet spots in the Bronco lease program recently, but you can’t be too picky with trim level and options. The big bends have a 72% 36mo residual and when equipped moderately, midpack and hardtop, plus a 10% dealer discount, a payment around $350 is possible. Most likely need to find aged inventory, to achieve this discount, and combine with loyalty/conquest/private offer.
The $3,000 Jeep conquest offer combined with the Big Bend program makes the Big Bend very appealing…
I am in southern Ill
So I should shoot for the Big Ben and go in and try to make them an offer on a deadl?
Yeah I haven’t found many good bronco deals that’s why my alternative would be a truck just in case I can’t find the deal I want but been wanting a broncos for years.
So there are a few ways to go about your search. Go through the inventory of Bronco Big Bends within a certain radius of your zip code. Find a few that are spec’d how you want them. Make a note of the dealer’s stock number. Put together a target price (10% off pre-incentive). Find out the current residual value and money factor from edmunds.com or become a super supporter here on LeaseHackr. Plug all of your numbers into the leasehackr calculator including your local tax rate, approximate DMV fees. Email or call the dealers that have units you are interested in. Tell them you are interested in stock # XXXX. Is it still available? You want to lease it from them for XX months/XX,XXX miles per year for $XXX.XX all in including taxes and fees. If they agree then you aill give them a credita card deposit to hold the Bronco and you will be there on Tuesday to pick it up. Good luck!
Thank you I appreciate the help!
Look at something like a Tacoma instead
I think better to negotiate over e-mail/text/phone and only go in to sign (assuming you’ve already test driven the cars).
This method only works if you’ve chosen a hackable vehicle in the first place
Agreed. The Big Bend Bronco is hackable-ish when you combine its 70% residual with the $3,000 Jeep Conquest…
Too small was looking at the Tundra if i get a truck I want full size Truck.
Im looking at big ben 2024 right now trying to get all the figures together.
How do you find dealer fees, govt fees, service fees, I have been searching their website and cant find them.
Dealer fees depend on the state. I like putting $500 as a placeholder if I do not know that state’s doc fee. Govt fees can be found on your county’s website. For example, in Michigan, I know if I transfer a plate, my gov fees will be no more than $100. If I need a new plate, they have a calculator where I can determine how much that would cost. Service fees I am assuming are finance add-ons like wheel and tire. I would leave that as $0
