I see a document from Pirelli that provides a road hazard warranty for tires. But I was mainly concerned about the low profile 19" wheels. I would think most bends could be repaired cheap but was wondering if anyone with a Giulia had any issues or recommends the wheel insurance
I live in NJ and might add to my deal if it’s cheap enough. btw this is the last thing and I should have the Giulia this month. very excited!
If you can get it for under $10 a month it’s worth it.
You don’t have to buy it from the dealer. The Alfa Romeo wheel& tire can be added after you purchase from anyone that sells MOPAR factory warranties. I got a $305 quote on a Stlevio with 19".
thanks. was thinking around $300 as well would be reasonable which would add about $15. won’t go over that. and thanks again for answering the plethora of questions I’ve recently posted lol
I have a deal for the Ti Sport, 47690 MSRP in my favorite color (Misano Blue). I got 15% off before the $2750 incentive.
10k is 0 due at signing $479/mo. might push to 12k for $500 even.
is yours 24 months? you are probably around $520 effective so it’s not the worst but can probably do better.
what warranties are you thinking of? I don’t think I need wear and tear if minor things are forgiven because I take pretty good care of my cars and park in an underground parking area. I’m considering the wheel warranty because NJ sucks
I was considering wheel warranty as well… but I’ve never dinged any wheels of mine in the past so I don’t think I’ll start now.
So yours is $479/mo with absolutely $0 DAS? Very nice… I told them $0 down (as a payment) but the drive off fees seem a little steep (adds up to over $2k)…Are these negotiable?
yep. I feel I got a decent deal considering low residuals and conquest going away. The wheel warranty is for the combination of low profile run flat tires and potholes. I don’t think it would cover normal curb rash.
I would focus on negotiating the selling price. If you can get 15+% off MSRP before incentives the deal will fall into place if the MF isn’t marked up.
Is there anything to negotiate about the random drive off fees like the Acquisition fee or the document prep fee. These are the highest I have seen while looking around for Leases. They are $895 and $499 respectively - Are these negotiable?
I got 24 month Giulia lease from San Diego AR in May. Used Ally Bank (seems many AR locations can use Ally or FCA financial), $595 acq fee. Cali sets doc fee at $80 (other states may differ), no disposition fee at end of lease. Seems like Ally is definitely better (residuals, fees, etc) in the SoCal area.
You can double check money factor (i.e. interest rate) by checking the Edmunds forums (rates are posted there often).
