Great ad. What was the MSRP on this? Seems that depreciation is way less than luxury ICE sedans. But I also don’t see why someone would pay about as much to get into a model 3 over a loaded CPO luxury sedan.

As a buyer - I’m looking at in stock new base model @ 38K - federal incentive alone at $31.5K. Why is this a good deal for a buyer ?

Good deal for anyone that doesn’t qualify for the tax credits. Obviously a bad deal for anyone that qualifies for federal and state tax credits. This is why I won’t buy a Model 3/Y. It would be different if Tesla passed the lease credits and allowed buyouts

Not everyone qualifies for the incentive. And it’s not like you get it off the car. It’s a tax credit
you can get it off the car + tax credit for a total of 15k if you qualify obviously YMMV

CA offers $7,500 state ev incentive so the op can get $15,000 in total. With that $15,000, s/he can buy a brand new tesla or another ev.
