2005 Audi TT 1.8t Quattro coupe
North Brunswick, NJ
Sale price: $8,000
Current mileage: 84,200
Vehicle condition (accidents, tire wear, etc.), options, and other details: No accidents have been reported. I am the 2nd owner and purchased it 2 months ago from Carmax. The original owner had it for 18 years. The car is in great condition, apart from two blemishes: a small crack on the passenger side front bumper and a dent on the rear hatch. The car was serviced approximately every 6,000 miles, as per the Carfax report. I have attached the Autocheck and CarFax report CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2005 AUDI TT 225HP QUATTRO- TRUWT28N051005056.pdf (196.8 KB) Autocheck .pdf (307.0 KB)
I always liked these TTs, especially in manual. Looks like you just got it August 9th. Why selling it so soon? Probably should include that detail as it may raise flags to some. Good luck with sale!
To be transparent, I’m flipping it. I bought it from CarMax as part of an employee deal and had it shipped from Wisconsin to New Jersey. I have always been a fan of these, so when this one popped up, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own it and drive it for a couple of months
Right. And the person who leased the car new and drove it for 2-3 years would be considered the 1st “owner”. You purchased it from the 2nd owner which makes you thr 3rd. You should ammend your post and also follow the advice of the gentleman above which suggested revealing why youre trying to flip a nearly 20 year old car after 6 mo of ownership.
I am sorry I think you misunderstood. The 1st owner and 2nd owner are the same person. They leased the car for the first three years and decided to purchase it themself from the leasing company afterward. Even though it’s the same person Carfax would report it as two different owners because the first title was issued under the leasing company’s name and the 2nd title was under their personal name. You can do some more research and find out that it’s pretty common thing. Hence why only two owners are mentioned on Autocheck. As to why I am flipping it? To make money, simple as that. I have only had it for 2 months and bought it to resell
Had a 2001 TT 225hp model. Super fun car but always in the shop for minor things. Everything is plastic in that engine bay. That 3,2 v6 is the sweet spot for these bubble/dome cars.
EDIT: just noticed the 6 speed shift knob. This is a fun car for sure with the extra HP.
