Hi all, first post — looking for a sanity check before I negotiate. Target car: 2026 VW Atlas SE, Deep Black Pearl w/ Shetland Beige leatherette (must have the beige interior — harder to find, so I’m somewhat locked to specific VINs) Location: South Florida The deal I’m chasing: MSRP: ~$39,310 A…

[image] dealseeker123: What are the current VW Financial buy rate MF and residual for a 2026 Atlas SE, 36/10k, FL/Southeast region? 36/10 is 65% residual with 0.00182 MF. But for the future you should really just become a super supporter so you can access all that yourself. Or just ask on Ed…

[image] dealseeker123: Advertised dealer price on an in-stock unit: $34,847 (~11% off before incentives) Many times these advertised dealer prices include incentives baked into the discount. Make sure you’ve confirmed or separated out the dealer discount from the incentives.

11% is definitely realistic. I grabbed my in-laws an Atlas at 12% off a few months ago

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and help — this community is amazing and I’ve learned more here in a few days than in weeks of dealing with dealerships directly. Really appreciate all the info on the numbers and structure. Quick recap of what I’m looking for, for anyone who can help: • 2026…

Good luck! Have you determined what percentage off MSRP you will need to land at $400/month with $0 drive-off? Generally, we don’t suggest just picking a monthly payment out of the blue. Instead, build an aggressive but feasible target deal based on programs for the month, the incentives you qualif…

At current MF/residual estimates for this trim (~.00213 MF, 63% residual, not confirmed for FL yet), $400/mo with $0 down needs roughly 14.5% off MSRP (~$33,550). The quote I saw on Edmunds was 11.4% off, so about 3 points (~$1,300) short, not miles off. Also — sent you a DM, appreciate you taking …

[image] dealseeker123: $0 down Be careful on terminology…down (cap reduction) is not the same as DAS (due at signing)…you could have 0 down and 1000 or whatever DAS.

11.4% off and 14.5% off are very different. Also keep in mind you will have about $1,400 in dealer fees. Are you accounting that in your math?

[image] dealseeker123: The quote I saw on Edmunds Then you have seen nothing useful. Dealer advertised discounts are completely unreliable. That isn’t to say your target is or isn’t feasible, but a dealer advertisement like that is not an indicator.

FL – 2026 VW Atlas SE (beige interior) – targeting ~$400/mo sign-and-drive – realistic?
