Max, just to let you know we went ahead and purchased a new S6 (more headroom than the S7) with the Audi discount. Many thanks to you and the forum for all your help!

Curious to why you purchased rather than leased? The S6 is relatively new, so I guess not many lease incentives. Did you also pay for Audicare considering you plan to keep for more than 3 years?

2025 model with Prestige package and platinum warranty.
We leased (and then bought) an A3 e-tron some years ago, which made us feel like we ended up paying more than had we just purchased outright. It did seem like most Audi customers leased.
Plus, max_g told us that purchasing was the way to go for cars you plan to keep over 5 years.
