Find lease deal yourself vs use broker in the marketplace

Just curious, typically and averagely, how much better if we hassle and spend time to get a lease deal ourselves vs use a broker in the marketplace?
e.g. X5, or GC 4e that I see good numbers (in my opinion) from the brokers

On here? You can save the broker fee (200-1000).

Is that worth hours of your time? That is for you to decide

Really not sure how anyone can answer your question. Completely subjective and dependent on the individual.

Impossible to answer, as not every broker deal is interchangeably good, and not everyone has the same analytical / math skills, and humans vary widely in their interest and capacity to initiate and sustain a conversation that’s adversarial in nature.

too many factors are involved- you, the dealership, and the vehicle itself have to meet certain outlier factors. i was able to beat what brokers are offering on i5 m60 though. spent a couple hours email, went to dealership and spent about 15-20 minutes, exited with the car.

In addition to what everyone else said, let’s narrow down.

What are the numbers for each given the conditional rebates you do and do not qualify for?

Looking for a Chevy Tahoe lease deal in the Northeast region. Most dealers are being really difficult in working out a good deal. Any ideas or tips?

define difficult? Are they not responding or are you not happy that the tahoe isnt 499/mo?

Have you spent the time on calc and seeing what a target payment/DAS would look like in a ‘good deal’? Post a link for review.

Dealers can’t fix terrible programs from the banks.

Tahoe and most GM ICEV have been terrible lease candidates for a long time

Depending on if you’d like to invest more time. I find my own deals and 80% of them are better than broker deals. But that’s cuz I put a lite time doing the match&beat methods back and forth between dealerships. Broker deals here are definitely better than average deals you can find most of time, it’s worth of using them if you want to save time. But if you want some crazy unicorn deal, do it yourself is probably more possible.

Matching a BMW deal is doable but matching a Jeep deal will be very time consuming. The answer to your question will be it depends on how valuable is your time.
