Finally got a dealer that gave numbers that match the LeaseHackr Calculator

Yes. It does. You can’t show a real life example where it’s correct

Who gives a shit, move onnnnnnn

yeah, forget it. i showed it already. its absurd you can’t admit it. my lease calculations always line up with the dealer, so that’s good enough for me.

Showed what? Showed this?

Already told you this was wrong

Just since I can’t resist adding noise to this… There is no part of an NJ lease that would be taxed at 7.025%, and no tricky roundabout way to get there… There is only a 6.625% upfront tax on the whole lease amount including fees, etc., then go ahead and then cap/roll whatever you desire back to the cap cost/pmt. The .4% is not a “tax”, it is a Supplemental Titling Fee as commonly labeled on dealer forms, bill of sale, etc… Applies to any vehicle sale price at $45k+, or anything with average MPG under 19mpg, or waived for anything over $45k with MPG over 40. People like to mentally turn it into a tax, perhaps since there is a % sign involved? I don’t know. It is simply a fee, with a method of calculation being .4% of sale price. You run your NJ lease with 6.625% upfront, then just add on the .4% “fee” upfront. Very simple…
