Hello. I finally settled on a decent (imo) offer from a Volvo dealership here in Denver.
After much back and forth, I got the MSRP, rebates and everything down as much as possible and I am ready to move forward.
At contract signing, the monthly payments remained the same as the quote but rebate and other numbers looked different. I was assured this is normal and “how they do it”
Am I being taken for a ride or is this accurate? Do final lease contracts often read different numbers than the quote if the final monthly remains the same?
Thanks!
Hard to answer without seeing what youre looking at, but lease structures can vary some.
Specifically, what issues are you seeing?
I’m going to pick up the car this morning, so I don’t have the contract in hand, but I woke up wondering. Ha. Rebates looked lower for one…but I was assured they’re the same. A couple others were off a bit.
With volvo, some of the incentives are direct to dealer, so they would be captured in a lower selling price rather than itemized as incentives.
So as long as the monthly remains the same, I ought not worry too much then?
Residual, MF, depreciations, etc. were similar if I remember correctly.
Thanks!
Id need to see the contract to say for sure, but probably isn’t an issue
