Tom McParland can give some pretty questionable advice but this is beyond the pale from Dave Ramsey. Doing a major disservice to his readers.
Sweeping generalizations are rarely right and that is the only way Dave Ramsey talks.

I think he’s actually doing disservice to all who follow his advice by telling them you can’t negotiate a discount on a car unless you’re paying in cash. Just wrong advice and failing miserably at his mission of educating.
