Fiat Spider 124 MN

Hello,

I’ve been looking at convertibles. Know from reading a bunch of posts here you don’t do well with these types of lease. Really liked the Spider and own a 500 Arbarth, underwater unfortunately. I pay $243 on a loan was hoping to get a lease <300. I get a loyalty incentive which is nice.

Went into the dealership, looked at a base manual with a tech package, wanted heated seats.
MSRP $27,300 + 500 for additional seats.
Incentives totaled $4200
Negative trade was $1300

MF was something like 0.001200 - i didn’t get this exactly but it was close to this. Residuals were 53%
Lease was a 36 mth/10k

Down payment of $1000, Lease came to $353, but that factored the negative trade which I figure is ~$40, so the lease is really costing me $313. I walked away but was called back later in the day, they’d give me the seats installed for nothing bringing the total lease down to $337 (which again losing the $40 neg makes it $297 for the lease with $1k down).

Wondering if that’s decent or is there more wiggle room to haggle?
Cheers!

That MSRP seems high for a classica.

MSRP was 24 something with destination of 900 + tech package of 1700.

Had a few calls and along with them throwing in the $500 seats they’re restructuring the lease to a 39. Meaning my payment goes down to 321. I’m pretty tempted at this point

Any luck? the 2018s are starting to show up, and if you are in a northerly climate, I’d say you’d have an advantage, the issue is that the residual is very low for 10k miles/year
