Signed up a lease yesterday on a loaner BMW X3 xDrive28i and wanted to know if this is considered a good deal on a leasehackr standard.
MSRP: 52,070
MF: 0.00190 (Marked up from 0.0015)
RV: 63% - 4,600 miles.
Final Selling Price: $40,500
Tax: 7.8%
Due at signing: $500 (First Payment + Registration fees)
Monthly Payment with Tax: $414.00
36 months, 12k miles.
The dealer quoted me a price of $399 a month with the same criteria above, but when we went sign, they said an error happened on their system quoting a lower payment and the best they could do was 414 which we decided to still take since the wife really liked the car.
Any constructive feedback on the deal is appreciated.
Pretty good deal, considering BMWFS has been raising the MF recently and doesn’t take MSDs anymore. Too bad you couldn’t get the base MF though. Enjoy the ride.
It is a loaner though. That being said it’s a pretty good deal all things considered. I would’ve walked away from the “error” but that’s just me
Yes, we felt pretty good about the numbers until they told us it was a mistake on their part. So i cant tell if we really got a good deal our own or if it was all due to the “mistake” they made.
We also thought about not taking the deal because of what happened, but looking at the numbers only, we thought we may not find a comparable deal anywhere else. As a matter of fact, other dealers were quoting us in the 5’s, even knowing what we had from the dealer we closed. So we ultimately decided to ignore, and still make the deal.
