Well I guess if you must have the latest and greatest then yeah, sure, negotiate on the MF and be at the mercy of the dealer … The Audi A6 which is 20k more is leasing for less …
I guess comparing the new Q5 to the new X3 is a better comparison right now. I do love the Audi Virtual Cockpit though.
Lexus really need to get rid of their stupid mouse cursor interface they have. I could be texting on my phone whist negotiating with North Korea whist driving and it would be less distracting that the Lexus cursor!
Ditto…last year I was looking for a replacement for my totaled Q5 (2015)…drove the RX350…hated it…though it was incredibly ugly, and interior was a mess…didn’t even like the flat seats, which CR raves about…and don’t even get me started with the infotainment system (Toyota is way behind the 8 ball in that department…I used to drive a prius).
Ended up with a Ford Edge, and love it for nearly a 40% lower payment, no disposition fee and regular gas!
-SUV Always lease worse than Sedans etc.
-Audi usually lease worse than competitors due to poor residuals and rebates
…w that said
The breakdown is all there for you.
You can’t do anything about the residual. Your sales tax is going to be roughly $40 a month no matter what. Your depreciation is going to be roughly $440 a month unless you can get the sale price down further. The best case scenario is no money factor and you’re STILL looking at $480 a month. So $513 is not that bad (even for a 5-6% interest borrowing rate, which is also higher for SUVS). If I could get it down to $490-500, i would be content, but its no where near a “deal.”
The RX350 is a much bigger and roomier SUV with more refined engine.
The AUDI 2.0L is notorious for burning oil and whenever my friend who has a Q5 needs to make a trip to home depot, he has to come and borrow our highlander …
