FCA Affiliate vs GM Supplier (EV Truck/SUV in Texas)

I’ve been going through a car buying cycle the last few weeks since my car got totaled and approved by the other driver’s insurance for buyout. I’ve settled on EVs, and trying to find the best bang for my buck right now. I’m landing on vehicles like old stock 2024s Silverado RST or Wagoneer S Launch Edition, but also seeing some good deals on 2025 Silverado LTs, and 2025 Wagoneer Limited (although those vehicles have a lot less bells+whistles, so I’d prefer the loaded 2024s)

My employer is a company that does a lot of testing for a lot of vehicle manufacturers (although that’s not what I personally do), so I qualify for all the domestic automaker Supplier/Affiliate programs.

I went ahead and generated my GM Supplier code, and confirmed I am eligible for FCA Affiliate too. I have thrown that out in some preliminary negotiations on Silverado EVs, and Wagoneer S. GM Supplier seems to be a pretty consistent $2k rebate that can be stacked with any other offers.

I’m not as deep on the Wagoneer S research and negotiation, but its seems like FCA Affiliate is a lot less definite. I told the salesperson I had access to it, he said its usually only worth $500-$1000. But I’ve also read on the FCA website that it is actually tied to the dealer invoice price for the car, rather than the currently negotiated deal. So I’m guessing that what I’m hearing from the dealer is just normal dealer BS and sandbagging. Maybe they’re getting a much bigger chunk than that, but trying to keep some/most of it for themselves?

Is there any way I can see the actual rebate they are getting off of me? Or is this a consistent $ figure or % figure based on MSRP?

More specifically, there are a bunch of FCA incentives right now on this vehicle. Employee pricing, consumer cash, and some other stuff that totals more than $10k in kickbacks, even before Federal EV credit. So does FCA Affiliate always stack on top of other incentives? Or does it only help when there’s nothing else to sweeten the pot?

Fca affiliate is only useful if you’re using it at a dealer that will stack it on top of your negotiated discount.

Some will, most won’t.

You’ll need Texas tax credits. Check Marketplace to see who’s offering them.

And forget the Wagoneer EV if you can get something nicer / less lemony
