Fastest cars under 100k MSRP

Been looking for this topic everywhere cant find anyone’s opinions. I am just interested in peoples opinons on the fastest (top speed) anyone has seen a car do at less than 100k MSRP without adding stuff to the car.

I know most cars have limiters and stuff like that but feel like a MB c63 and a c300 wont be limited to the same top speed.

Hellcat is the easy answer here. Only car I can think of off the top of my head under$100k which is capable of 200mph+

Camaro zl1 can hit 195

What did the Challenger Demon + Demon crate do for top speed? 200ish? I think it could go only 170 or so on the stock tire.

edit: VVVVV Tesla Model S is limited to 155mph to combat battery degradation I think? But it would be the quickest to 60.

Would have to be the Tesla Model S Performance, right? 0-60 in 2.5ish.

Edit. See you said top speed. Corvette ZR1 if going a touch over 100k. Cadillac CTS-V and the hellcat mentioned would be next off the top of my head.

Second Edit: Why don’t we just throw money out the window. Give the heart what it really wants with the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

If you’re offering to buy, I’ll take 2

$59,995 base Corvette C8 will do 198-mph. That’s probably the best performance per dollar. Equipped with Z51 that drops to 184-mph, but acceleration rockets at 2.8s.

For a luxury performance sedan, a 523-hp M550i or even a M340i (0-60 in 3.8s) are fairly quick (yes I know technically you were asking about top speed vs acceleration) for a somewhat reasonable pricing point

Chiron* Keep up with the times man! 300+!!!

Feel like the CTS V might be just as fast as the hellcat when it comes to top speed. Obviously the 0-60 goes to a bunch of different light-weight cars but I’m talking straight free way foot down to the floor which car is winning a 5 mile straight run race

5 miles? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Alfa Guilia Quad - 191 mph

There’s supposed to be a 0 after the 5

Top speed seems like a bit of a useless metric given how you mostly can’t utilize it outside a track and a lot of the Germans are good for more than 155mph but limited obviously. A 0-60mph or 30-80mph time is usually way more interesting (in my humble opinion)

I like 60-100 test, to me that is the true “I am going to pass you” speed test for the highway

It is CRITICAL to add a sticker on the front top of the windshield that says HONDA.

More so than the European front license plate?

Also needs a massively staggered tire setup with really meaty rear tires

charger hellcat - 204 mph
cts-v - 200 mph
challenger redeye - 203
c7 Z06 - 205 mph

hellcats at full throttle will run out of gas in 12 minutes, z06 and hellcat will be neck and neck if you start said race at 80 mph+

VTEC Decals on the bottom of the doors easily add another 5 MPH to the top speed.
