You can also post your “girlfriend” - lots of really wealthy guys just go nuts over women
Isn’t the point of buying an exotic bc you’re “unattached”. Even tho my i8 only got me attention from mainly teenage boys haha
100% - who cares what you drive once you get the prettiest girl in the room
How many girlfriends you got?
Depends what room it is
Not many choices in the prison cell
Me none - working hard n dreaming about cali girls
So many beauties In California
That’s not what your mom said
I like this question. I often ponder about potential problems for a situation I will never be able to afford. True shower thoughts.
I had a rough go of it when I won the lottery last night.
Mom jokes funny ‘til you mess with the wrong Mom after she caught him creepin’ on her daughter.
He’s Russian - the mom jokes hit home - during middle school - some of the divorcee Russian moms were smokes lol

Not that the GT4 is exotic, but my biggest fear is other people. Someone bumps you and it isn’t just the costs to repair, but the resale hit it will take. Also, I want to make sure I put “fun” miles on it so I’m not killing resale. So no back and forth on Monday’s since I work 9-5 and no driving when it rains.
And then there is planning on where you want to drive. Street park in the city, no way. Grocery store’s entrance is too steep, taking the SUV. Google Earth if you are driving somewhere new.
Otherwise, I don’t really worry about people trying to race or anything. If someone starts acting stupid, I back off or punch it. Like the other day, I was driving with a C7, which was fine. Then two random cars (G37 and a 330) tried joining with traffic getting heavier. I wasn’t going to get involved with those, so I just slowed down and let them go. Then another day, a GTI was riding my bumper in traffic. At the first opening, I was 1/4 ahead before they could change lanes.
I love when people tried to race me. I would rev it up and give them the nod. Then just slowly accelerate to the speed limit. Happened almost daily. The only time I ever enjoyed driving at high speeds on public roads was in the middle of the pandemic when they told everyone not to leave the house. That was actually enjoyable with no morons texting and driving.
I don’t even look over. Maybe I sound arrogant/snobby, but I have nothing to prove to a 20 year old in a clapped out 330 and I’m not going to jail/losing my license street racing. Now that changes when I get some stickers on my car and end up around other cars with similar stickers as @HersheySweet can attest to.
I’m not in the business of cars/auto industry. But I’ve pissed away tons of money on “exotics” and still do.
I did the bmw m3 to 911 route. Then left for the super cars in 2013.
If the car is not a budget stretch. And the new toy factor goes away. The feeling just becomes a car. Cover it in PPF and insure it well.
Modern exotics car can be daily driven. Many are where I live. They are street parked often.
People like taking picture. It gets annoying while driving on the freeway when they stop being able to drive in their own lanes. But it’s rare.
I rarely get revved on, there is no need to participate. And I’m older now so working through traffic/cutting between cars is a no go.
Canyon runs and tracking them are fun. Very humbling vs a good driver in a slower car.
It all comes back to how much of a stretch it is financially and if you have a trust mechanic. Try them all. They each have their own pros and cons. Their character are all very different.
Maintenance /insurance /dmv tags add up quickly. Insurance is getting out of hand in California.
To insure/service/register an exotic. It could be as much as a sport sedan lease.
If OP is talking about the SL I just rented one for 3 days and no one cares in South Florida. Absolutely not a single soul said anything
I’ve been looking at Ferrari California to actually drive in NYC. Get the badge but not as flashy.
You should buy the one someone here wants to sell
