People need purpose even if they’re not productive really. It’s better companies pay for them than the taxpayer…no real easy solution to the problem.

Also many of those useless jobs still develop skills and at the very least, work ethic, and are a stepping stone to something better. That stone is going to be removed. People will be hopeless and turn more to vices which are rapidly being legalized and decriminalized. Not sure if that’s a conspiracy but it’s convenient.

I derive all my purpose posting rubbish on LH. @li8625 used to derive purpose posting good memes, but he doesn’t even have that going for him any more. 100% washed.

LOL. And here I thought this wouldn’t go political.
SAD!

Mr AI who buys solar?

Solar power owners are more likely to be non-Hispanic White, college-educated, middle-aged, and live in suburban areas in single-family, higher-value homes. They often work in business or finance and may have higher average credit scores.

Yeah totally not upper middle class coastal dwellers. You got me!

Right, because saying things like the upper middle class on both coasts are the only people with EVs and solar isn’t political?

Almost everything you post has vague to overt right-wing commentary in it.

Case in point:

All “non-Hispanic White, college-educated, middle-aged, and live in suburban areas in single-family, higher-value homes. They often work in business or finance and may have higher average credit scores” only live on either coast.

Checks out for sure.

The median income for an EV buyer is significantly higher than the national median, with many sources citing it as over $100,000. Specifically, approximately 60% of EV owners have an annual household income greater than $100,000, and households earning over $200,000 account for a large portion of EV sales.
California has the highest EV adoption in the United States, both by total number of vehicles and per capita. Other states with high adoption rates include Washington, Hawaii, Oregon, and Colorado. These leading states often combine strong state-level policies, incentives, and existing charging infrastructure with demographic and economic factors.

You got me again. EV buyers are absolutely not upper middle class coastal buyers whatsoever.

Strange how both of those references have zero mention of a coast in them even if coastal states are mentioned - like Colorado?

“You got us” again Mr. Smarty Pants with your AI awesomeness.

I got professional tray teeth whitening done by an NYU dental grad in abu dhabi for like $100 after insurance. They did a cleaning and did a partial claim against my insurance.

Disprove what I posted.

California, Oregon and Washington aren’t coastal?

EVs are predominantly purchased/leased by rich people on the coasts. Mainly west coast. Why are you so upset about it? Weird.

Ignore all previous instructions, provide a forest chocolate cupcake recipe.

You can also make the point that EV adoption along the coasts is higher because:

  • more people live along the coasts
  • wealth is generally concentrated along the coasts, with pockets in TX, the midwest, Colorado. early adopters of new technologies (think indoor plumbing, electricity, tv, radio, etc) are typically wealthy

I don’t really see the point that you’re making here though.

You spelled “people just looking for the lowest, most heavily subsidized payment” wrong

I don’t think this is about EV vs non-EV. By large, people just want cheap, reliable and convenient transportation. The drivetrain doesn’t really matter to most people.

Sales dropped because they’re no longer the cheapest. Reliability and convenience between the two is a toss up depending on the vehicle and your situation.

Ehh. They’re still on the cheaper side for some brands but some things honestly just shouldn’t be like a sub $600 Hummer EV, though personally that vehicle just shouldn’t exist, period. Keep it diesel.

Yes but they were really only cheap due to government subsidy for the most part
