Pretty much all of the quotes I am getting are way off the manufacturer’s advertised prices or the deals posted here. They keep on asking to see signed contracts etc. Any tips as to how to convince dealers to budge a bit? Also would someone help me access a signed contract for a specific deal so that I can go to the same dealer with it? Located in FL
Stop telling them you saw it on the internet. If they want to see the contract, they are just going weasel their way out. (We can’t do that discount, it’s too cheap!) (This is a different state, so the discounts are different)
You figure out your price point such as $200 / $2000 down. And look at the market place here to see if it is reasonable for your STATE. (States like CO have bigger discounts than say FL) and present THAT the dealer OVER TEXT. Do not go in as you will waste hours of your time for a single number.
Now if you REALLY want to bake your noodle, you figure out Discount off MSRP, All Incentives you qualify for, the base Money Factor, and the amount of dealer fees, and pop it in the Lease Calculator above but most people sorta don’t like doing advanced math.
If all else fails, pay someone’s broker fee and get the car delivered.
Advertised national offers often have a suggested dealer contribution (discount) and a cap cost reduction (down) as well as also pre-tax/reg.
Click on Marketplace for your state.
Advertised deals are garbage. And LH deals can be replicated maybe 1 of 10-20 times depending on how good it was.
It’s not that hard. Go to “Signed” I found this in about 15 seconds. Contract is attached. Go through “signed” and look for the same EV you’re trying to replicate to use as a guide. Would be best if you could find one from FL
I believe you need to be a super supporter to see signed.
Ah…I didn’t know. I stand corrected. I guess in the past I could see the deal in signed but not the actual contract.
Contracts won’t help you. Anyone giving you the runaround will continue giving you the runaround.
Make actionable and unambiguous offers to multiple dealers knowing you’ll have a sub 10% success ratio.
