EQS Deal in Texas

Hey guys, has anyone signed a decent lease deal on the Mercedes EQS in Texas??

Dealers are giving me 1100$+ monthly for the 2024 EQS and im seeing deals in 700$ monthly out of state. I just dont know if Texas sucks or I am getting ripped off by dealers. I know Texas has stupid Tax rules on leases, but is that the sole reason?

Texas isnt best when it comes to leasing but its still doable, Im from TX and leasing an EQS @ 740 a month, I helped my friend lease one for right under $700 a month aswell. Texas dealers suck but 700s are doable even though people in different states get deals as low as 400s.

If you have a breakdown of the deals you’ve been getting, it’d be easier to comment. But, yes, the tax situation is probably the main issue.

Have you created a realistic target deal using the calculator?

Are you going to MB Plano or MB Grapevine?

I’ve seen some one post a $10k one pay lease on eqs. Included Texas sales tax credits.

i went to MB Mckinney

Dam man they were giving me the EQE for that much. Can I pm you?

Lol close enough. The DFW (I’m including McKinney in there) area is just a disaster zone for getting any leases. I legit do not think any LH user residing anywhere near DFW has ever hacked an EQS from a DFW-area dealer and posted about it on this site.

The closest was @Bmait who was in Frisco. But he actually got a EQS that had been at MB Plano for 365 days. MB Plano dumped the car into NorCal (as far away from the Lonestar as they could). The NorCal dealer did an out of state deal with @Bmait to ship the formerly MB Plano EQS back to Frisco, and the overall payment after TTL and the shipping was like $500 less a month than what MB Plano wanted before TTL.

TLDR: you’re better off sourcing an EQS from the West Coast and shipping it to TX, than trying to get a deal done anywhere near DFW.

This observation is very true about dfw dealers. Im in mckinney, and i had to drive to temple to get two Ariyas at sub $100/month after all the dealers around me wouldnt work with me

Glad to meet LHackrs from DFW area!

Are there any sales tax credits available on EQS at this time?

I can second this. Definitely worth the shipping fee and registering the car as foreign entity in another state. Will save you a buck vs. dealing with these dfw dealers. BMW quotes in the dfw area are similar in my experience unfortunately.
