EQB or EQE or GLC or GLE which one you would pick up from Loaner inventory?

Long time Bimmer driver 12+ years. New to MB

Don’t know shit about their number or model means

Working with GM for nationwide lux shops, meeting with him today afternoon

They have Plenty of loaner inventory

Which one I should pick up. This EQX Y Z is making me dizzy.

Use case:

Daily driver. Don’t care about EV or ICE

Payment needs to be sub 300 pm. 24/10

2023 EV has all the incentives EQB 3500+7500+Employee, EQE 4500+7500+Employee

GLC GLE none except AMEX $500

An EQB is the equivalent of an EV VW Tiguan.

The GLC is the equivalent of a BMW X3.

The GLE is the equivalent of a BMW X5.

An EQE SUV is an EV somewhere between the size of a GLC and GLE.

Only you can decide which size works for you.

If the effective payment needs to be below an effective $300/mo, I don’t think you’ll be hitting that on any Mercedes, loaner or otherwise.

EQB is GLB with a battery. You should be able to get EQB with that payment. As long as you’re ok with the range, have level 2 charging n can charge overnight, or have EA nearby, you’ll be fine.

EQE can also be had with that payment but will need more effort & luck to find dealer willing to give you that deal. It has a nicer interior than EQB, however its exterior is not for everyone.

Not familiar with GLC & GLE lease number, however it’s unlikely for you to get them under that number.

None of the above. :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

I had asked you if the $300/mo was an effective monthly or not. Neither of deals you posted are strictly an effective monthly of < $300/mo, and I imagine that the EQE was a bit of a unicorn.

You can probably find an EQB in the $300s + inceptions in the $300s.

We don’t see these numbers b/c they lease horribly. There’s no way OP is getting a loaner GLC or GLE for anywhere close to $300/mo.

Yeah, EQB can be had for that number with some efforts. The EQE number is a unicorn, good luck to OP if he think he can get it.

Wouldn’t meet the OP’s budget, but my parents have a GLC and it’s… fine. Pleasant enough. I’ve never driven an X3, though, and can’t imagine the GLC is worth the extra cost for a lease.

Have owned both X3 and GLC (current)…I preferred the X3 (firmer handling) but the wife loves the GLC (more cushy)…it is her car after all!

Just to clarify… You got a great deal on a loaner and also financed or purchased out-right, correct? Just making the distinction b/c I don’t GLC lease as well as an X3 structurally (but that doesn’t matter if one is planning to purchase).

Yeah, I don’t know about ‘great’ deal but we found a more rare mint condition diamond white AMG package 20" wheels GLC (CPO loaner) for about 21% off MSRP…we did buy and yes GLCs don’t have the lease incentives or programs BMW does…but we had bought the X3 too…which sold for only 10K less than we paid for it 3 years earlier with 40K miles on it (bought 3 months prior to pandemic start).

Was not saying it HAS to be <300. It can be low to mid 300 ish with DAS $0
upon searching seeing more unicorn EQB in that range

Talked to dealer principal yesterday on the phone he said they have many loaners available. Looking at the website, they have close to 50+ loaners. Will see today after my meeting with him.

You should translate the discount from those deals into an LH calculator with today’s RV and MF and the incentives you qualify for, and the taxes of where you live. And that’s the offer you make or use as your target.

Otherwise you’re paying too much or offering too little.

Don’t try to replicate someone else’s payment.

So you are buying a payment instead of a vehicle? Stick with BMWs. They are simpler to operate and won’t give you as much grief for 3 or 4 years. Free maintenance for first 3 years. Plus you might have loyalty discounts.

You don’t know if those loaners have been abused. How many people fill up a loaner with premium fuel before returning it to the dealer despite what is says on the fuel door?

You kinda did

Neither MB nor BMW are more difficult to operate. And free oil changes shouldn’t determine one’s car choice.

NTM these are EVs.

And no BMW can be leased for ~$300 today AFAIK.

Good luck with that. Even before taxes, I doubt you are going to get an EQB for that cheap. Forget about an EQE or GLE.

EDIT: Instead of posting unicorn deals from 1 to 2 months ago, I would strongly suggest taking a look at broker deals in the Marketplace to get an idea of what a realistic deal might look like this month.

This is exactly it’s being done for the last 5-7 years

The above two deals posted are just the baseline to see how much discount was done on loaners. Changed to current july 2 numbers, + all incentives including fleet ops., reg fees and tax rate.

On a “modern” engine, is there really a high likelihood of engine damage using a lower octane gas?
