Looking into a 2017 Buick Enclave Lease $99/24months, $99 down, 10,000 mile year allowance.
MSRP=51,390
Purchase Cash= $5,391.00
Price Reduction below MSRP = $ 2317.00
Price after all offers $ 43,682.00
Total value savings = $ 7,708.00
There is a trade in of credit $5000.00 with a 2000 or newer vehicle that goes with deal as well. Tax, title license, and dealers fees extra.
is this a good deal?
First time contemplating a lease. zip code 49046
Is this something you put together or did you pull it from somewhere?
“Purchase Cash” means purchase and won’t apply to a lease.
But if you figure out a way to get a $50,000 enclave for a total lease cost of $2500 please let us know, because yes it’s an exceptional deal.
I will go do this lease today if this is legit and available in TX (even with the taxes it’d be worth it for me).
Agreed. Need more details though, and some of the terminology in the deal quoted above is a bit odd.
Price reduction below MSRP is only valid on purchases. Lease and purchase incentives are very different. Any car is possible at $99 a month, but the down payment could be huge.
If I’m reading your post correctly, you’re getting $5000 for a trade-in applied to the lease? If so, how are they applying that $5k? Is it a cap reduction?
Even if didn’t have the trade in it would add about ~$200 a month but even $299 would still be a great deal I’d think on a $51k car, even if the 2018 has been completely redesigned.
Let’s not forget to stack on Costco executive with the $750 rebate. So it’s $1,750 for two years!
I’ll take 2 please.

This is the add on the dealer web page, Todd Wenzel Buick/Gmc dealer in Grand Rapids Michigan one of several specials they are running. They are also running Chevy specials at there Chevrolet dealers.
OK, so the $5k of trade equity is really just a down payment.
You’re really looking at $0 down, $210(ish)/month. Still seems like a really good deal.
Seriously, if you are a Costco member, you can get an additional rebate.
here’s the fine print on the $5,000 “rebate” on trades. It’s described on the website as $5,000 more than KBB fair condition value or minimum of $5,000 for any post 2000 driveable vehicle.
"In order to qualify for $5,000 rebate, trade vehicle must be manufactured after 2000 for 5K min or after 2010 with miles under 150K for 5K over KBB fair condition vehicle appraisal less reconditioning costs. Must be in drivable condition and insured consistent with the applicable state law. The vehicle must be registered to the same owner for a period of not less than six months immediately prior to such trade in and title must not have been transferred to any other person other than the ultimate purchaser (same household only). Available on select new, in-stock vehicles, order and trades excluded. Salvage title vehicles are ineligible. Must have title at closing. May exclude certain high line imports and lease trade-ins. Not compatible with any other offers. Dealer participation may affect consumer price. 40% off MSRP offer requires a trade. See dealer for details. Offer ends 1/2/18.
Lease Specials: All prices exclude tax, title registration and doc fees. All prices to lease include $5,000 trade equity or cash down, GM Employee Pricing and all applicable and stackable GM incentives. See dealer for details. Offer ends 1/2/18."
So I am in contact with this dealer today and they are working on a deal, I will let you know how it pans out. I will be trading in a 2004 GMC Envoy for the $5000.00 equity persee per the add on there website which it does qualify. We will see if this works.
I did check on the costco, unfortunately no lease rebates at this time available, purchases only for the additional rebate. I am bummed because I have the executive card.
$5k down over 24 month ~ $210/month. Then you add in the $99 monthly gives something like ~$310/month (or so).
Yeah. Uh… Math is hard?
So you are getting a trade enhancement on your trade-in. If you 2004 Envoy has a trade in value of $1500 (and a private party value of $3500), you are getting that value enhanced to $5k. Sounds like an easy way to dispose of the old vehicle without dealing with poor trade-in values or dealing with Craigslist people. If the deal goes through, see if they will cut you a check for the $5K instead of applying it as a CCR to your lease. That way you won’t be out money if you wreck the Enclave in month 2 of the lease.
Also, it looks like the 40% off 2017 models applies mainly to Buick Lacrosse/Regal models. If the numbers work out in the $300/mnh range, that is still a great deal on an Enclave.
Don’t forget that this does not include TTL. Its an OK deal (not a great deal) if you have to put $5K down. I have seen other dealers advertise around $300/month. Here is a $200/month deal someone got on a loaner recently.
I think the costco auto GM Holiday program runs till Jan 2, 2018. Executive members get $700 costco cash. I received my gift cards last week. Leases signed on Oct 7 and Oct 30.
They are really dragging their feet on this deal. Trying to do the deal with a 2009 Malibu for trade as the min $5k would be a bump for us as this car is not worth hardly anything.
They are acting like it requires a current lease in your household, gm family & friends or employee pricing or whatever they called it. I’m thinking it is a bait and switch. Anyone have a different experience?
To be honest, it sounded like bait and switch to me from the beginning. Not surprised at all
