My cars look better when I sell/trade/return them than when I bought them.
Can you take your car for another inspection somewhere else ? You may get better results if you bring the car unwashed.
I went to the Nissan dealer but they said the body shop was closed today so would not be able tell me if i will be āchargedā or not. Declined to help and told to come back on Monday or just go their contracted body shop directly.
I am thinking of taking to my mechanic to see if fix it hopefully for much less what they are charging me - donāt think these guys are gonna help with anything.
I am in the same page with you. They donāt have any incentive to help unless you buy/lease another vehicle from them.
No luck today. Went to my mechanic and another body shop. Got quoted more then the inspection. Thinking of going to the dealership who fixed the car in the first place and get them budge on bad paint job.
while I do agree with the charges on most of the charges (not the color, or hood dents) I feel NMAC is one of the worst offenders when it comes to lease end charges, donāt know if that is the case. I would just buy one of those tear plans now when i get another lease.
On another note, I am not being ātoldā by my friends why lease is bad after they saw the report. Fun times arguing with them
can you return the car to the same dealership too ? If you can, you donāt need to fight with them to get it fixed. They should be able to eat the damage since it is caused by them.
I will be in your shoe 3 months down the road. What recommendation do you have for me to avoid the hassle ?
When he returns the vehicle, it belongs to NMAC. NMAC is charging him, not the dealer.

But it is the dealer who verifies which item is fixed from the list of charges and which item is still remaining. Is that correct ?
