As of the last few months, it’s been a horrible experience trying to use the Audi app at EA stations to charge the Audi Etron GT, it just doesn’t work.

I called Audi and EA, both are telling me, “It’s a known problem and we’re working on it.”

So each time I charge at EA, I have to call for a remote start authorization to charge. Hold times vary but on average about 20 minutes to get an EA rep on the line.

Yes, I’ve tried different phones and different EA locations, no luck.

I keep getting an error on the app that says:

“checks.state argument is missing”

Has anyone had this problem? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You not wrong , one stall open

Where’s that? Pinky swear that you didn’t use that fancy Samsung feature to delete unwanted objects😂?

haha nah I didn’t

Last time only 2/6 cars here, haven’t seen the lines they experience in LA :joy:

Thought it had to be somewhere in Ventura County. I went to Ventura EA (near downtown by Target) a few months ago. I was the only one when I got there. A guy in Kia pulled up later and was the only one when I left. Got good speed there too. #NotInLA

Currently waiting at a Walmart parking lot. All chargers in use. Been here 41 mins. Only 3/4 chargers even working, and 3 cars waiting behind me. All 3 cars currently charging are sitting empty. They need to start enforcing idling charges IMO, especially at a grocery store charging site.

I got free charging for ea charges when i got my polestar in 2021. It was an incentive they added.

That’s rought

Tonight’s EA session, 4 of 4 working, arrived and was first in line. Waited about 10 minutes and got the 350 plug vacated when the Mach-E left. Charged from 33% to 77% in 18 minutes and left. During that time, none of the other 3 cars moved with 2 people waiting.

Ironically my first DCFC on the new MX was at an Electrify America. And the battery wasn’t even pre-conditioned.

Used the 150KW stall since it was already at 40% plugging in.

Had an interesting charging session last night.
Came with about 12% and no line.

Had to take a picture of the charging speed:)
Also noticed a trend - no matter my starting battery charge level - the software if trying to regulate the charge speed to make 80% in exactly 30 min. I guess no point going there at 50% of you can continue to drive down to 10% and charge then albeit that’s risky for some

The best is when you arrive, the glass is shattered and you’re not even mad because you thought about doing it too.

I rented a Mustang Mach E from Avis in Las Vegas. I drove to Laughlin and then had to drive 40 min south to Needles, CA to the Electricy America station to then drive back to Las Vegas. I was at 12% and went to the 350 kwh charger. Was a total joke. Not a single other car there, it would only charge max at 130kwh, and averaged about 75. It took an hour to get to 75% and was $40 bucks! Never renting a non-tesla ev again. The Mach E was horrible by the way, completely inaccurate on the mileage caluclations

The Mach E is on 400V architecture so can only get about 150kw peak. Also the charger curve isn’t the best on the Mach E so id say your session was as good as it could’ve gotten. Not to say that I’m disagreeing lol i had one so been through that.

Damn!!! Imagine someone actually own that and have to live with it. I mean charging at home - sure - did that w my Leaf - because supercharger speed was 40kwh maxđŸ„ș
I’m not going to complain about my ID.4 charge speed knowing it gets to 80% from 15% in 30 min even on 150kwh charger and 40F temp outside.
