Anybody want to WAG[ONE]ER how long these will sit on the lot and when we’re going to have firesales with a boatload of trunk money?
As much as I like cheap EV deals, I think I’d wait out for the second year of production, first year and first EV for Jeep seems risky.
Yeah, I just don’t think this will sell that well… The only thing going for it is it’s the first full-size luxury electric SUV
I never buy the first edition of a book.
Saw the initial MSRP projected to be above 70k. These things will sit on the lot a while. People want EVs, they just don’t want 70k+ EVs. That early adopter with money crowd have already gotten the cars they wanted and we are firmly in the commodity market which values overall cheaper cars.
Same reason it was so confounding to completely drop cheap gas cars (think an and Focus) from any lineup. I get it, low MSRP cars don’t make the same profit as big hulking F150 King Ranch Ultimate Platinum Playboy Wisconsin Cowboy edition pickup trucks with six figure MSRPs. But still….
I dont think its full-sized. Its basically Grand Cherokee size.
“Arriving Fall 2024” … why not just call it a MY25 then?
What will be the target monthly payment for this with $0DAS? $300-400? 400-500? 500-600?
No real way of telling until we see the projected residuals as well as how CCAP/SFS decide to pass the EV credit (or not).
Not even a 3-row.
Rather get an R1S for the same money or EV9 for less.
I rather walk in 100 degree weather than driving a mopar
Its basically a grand cherokee trackhawk. Its priced better than a comparably equipped gc 4xe. Will be a great lease if it’s incentivized like a gc.
Why are they calling it a wagoneer when it’s just an EV GC?
Jack up the MSRP and watch the 1-1.25% crowd roll in.
Im shocked the msrp isnt way higher when you compare this to a gc 4xe
anything chrysler is always risky
Came in to say the same thing as @max_g; all about increasing that sweet sweet name cachet and increase profit margins.
Seems counter intuitive given no one wants the actual Wagoneer
Great opportunity to increase your home insurance replacement value and park one of these in your garage. You just have to survive the inveitable fire.
Ideas…ideas…now to find a home insurer to actually give me insurance.
