Not hard to have a $1000 doc fee instead of a $500 doc fee and nobody thinks twice if the payment is what they want.
If theres one constant in the car business its that people will attempt to screw you at every step in the process.
So read your contract and know what the values should be before you sign.
You should be doing that whether you use a broker, edmunds, or find your own deal.
