Continuing the discussion from Off-Topic Landfill 6
Hey all, I’m Diego, 41M here, New Yoridian (well going on 4 yrs in St Pete but NYC is always in the blood), love this community ever since my first deal from Quentin in 2019. Parts of me will never like certain things about Southern/Florida living but I grew up in da South actually (army brat). Hope to keep learning from yall and ideally make some connections with dealers to get some of the unicorns.
If ever in need medical advice DM me, I’m am an anesthesiologist and went into health care since looking up to those that cared for me as a sick kid and have been blessed to get to my position despite chronic illness. If a meet up in future happens hope to join!
Haven’t explored outside of Tampa Bay/Miami yet. But we got restaurants and can charter boats out here in St Pete!….wondering what is good with Panhandle, Jax, St Augustine and Naples
Grew up outside Winston-Salem and know Charlotte well. What part of NC is best to visit as I think most People say Charlotte

Boone, North Carolina.
Welcome to Florida ! Make a trip up to Highway 30A. Enter from Panama city beach and go up 20 miles using Highway 30A till Destin. Stop by Alys Beach ! And Rosemary beach for good food.
Panama city beach pier is also very good. Stay at the Hyatt Place Resort here which is a very nice property and ideal location.
Marco Island is a must to visit. Most or all beaches are resort style though but cleanest and best of Florida sand.
Naples is also great. Not sure if the pier has reopened yet but still a great beach which does get a bit crowded on weekends. 5th ave Naples for some great restuarant and weekends are full of some great rides.
Also take a drive South from the Naples pier and you get to see some of the sickest cribs ever that are hidden from reality tv shows.
St. Augustine. A great place to visit for a weekend. Stay at the Hyatt Place Resort (yes again lol) its sick and yes its a resort and newly built too. Check it out. Take a tour of the old city and oldest house in the US.
Orlando lol the parks what else !
Miami is aright man. Too crowded to be honest now a days. Leave it for last after you have visited the above. Too much construction and highway redesigning going on which makes the traffic insane. If u find a cheap flight, just fly down to MIA dont drive. Enjoy a weekend and bounce.

Welcome Diego! For North Carolina, Charlotte is nice for a short stay (restaurants, museums, urban life), but it’s generally not the most memorable destination in the state. If you really want to be blown away, head to the mountains around Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway (hiking, panoramic views, breweries), or the coast with the Outer Banks (wild beaches, lighthouses, unique atmosphere).

Thanks! A couple of my coworkers own homes in Blue Ridge area and rave about it. After moving from NYC where I miss hiking around Poughkeepsie area, I’ll probably plan a trip up there soon to get away from the FL heat! Other visit will be when I can afford a Duke UNC ticket at Cameron one day
