Early term/upgrade?

Wife has a leased Mercedes C300 that she got December of 2024. Term was 36 months at 15K per year. Is it possible to get out of that lease and upgrade to a mercedes SUV? Never tried to get out oif a lease before.

By writing a check, absolutely.

Get the payoff from MBFS, find out how much it’s actually worth,

and you’ll know how big a check you have to write.

I like math problems… you have had the car for 9 months total, leaving you with 27 months left. Depending on your monthly payment, you will have to cover the total remaining 27 payments in order to switch to your SUV. I’d recommend a G580; I heard they are offering big monies on that if you are BOA diamond member. Damn… @jeisensc beat me.

Take the C300 and let her lease an SUV.

Don’t forget the 4% early termination penalty (unless you’re in CT).

And no lease transfers for MBFS except:

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services will allow a transfer if the lease contract originates from the state of Connecticut. Lease transfers may also be allowed in cases where the lessee has passed away. A business lease for a defunct business may be transferrable, as well.
