Negotiating on a loaded 2020 loaner / demo. It’s classified as CPO. 15% of msrp, but quoting MF of .00270, which seems very high. I’ve read base MF is .00205. Thoughts on how to approach?
Does edmunds confirm base MF is .00205? That seems high but it is the wagon. I would politely tell them that you will only do a deal at base MF. Otherwise, they need to discount it further to account for the markup as well as the fact that there’s a redesign for the E class coming shortly. As an aside, I suggest doing MSDs.
Tag says OP is in NY. Unless the deal is done out of state, NY doesn’t allow MSDs.
