Pass on this. You can do better. Wait until closer to end of September then high volume dealers will deal to try to hit quarter. Aim for 14-15% before incentives. Target dealers with aging inventory
Op must like paying more. This has been mentioned multiple times. I believe Rv is 64% on the 24.
OP run the same deal at 24 months, max msds and audicare (should be 899 on 24 month but saves you money with the 1% residual bump)
Yeah not at all. I can’t decide if these deals will get better or worse from here
Thanks will look at that. I see the 64% for the regular (non RS) GT but do you think it’s the same for the RS?
Much appreciated thanks!
You can verify yourself but I believe it is 64 rs/63 p+. So 65/64 with audicare. You always need to run all the scenarios but the cheapest option isn’t what you expect. Personally if it cheaper or close to go a shorter term you always take it.
If it were my I’d tell them 12% off and I’ll be there immediately to sign and then structure per my post above.
Sorry if this is off topic. Is there still $7500 lease cash for the Q4 etron?
Audi offers page is only showing $3000, but pre-negotiated deal here is showing $10500 (7500+3000).
I believe it is gone for September.
Thanks for this suggestion you were right on this. They are now at 34300 as a one pay for 24 months. Still some work to do but getting there. Need to get them down on discount.
Check the math. Max msds should get your effective payment to about the same without such a huge cash outlay. Now that you can get 5% return in a money market it’s hard to justify a one pay.
Thanks @LeaserOC makes sense - so something like this?
Close assuming all your fees are correct. Doesn’t look like you included the cost of audicare anywhere (899). You can just reduce the selling price by that amount. Anyways you’re on the right track. A couple more % off and I think you have a really good deal.
Final deal 1362 per month, 4k down including first month on a 24 month lease, 7500 miles
Congrats. Enjoy
Thanks appreciate all the help!
Hey all! This thread is super helpful as i’m in the same boat as @rss723
I’ve identified the 24 month lease as being the way to go! However, the MF seems to be quite high. One dealership has quoted me .0035 while another dealership has quoted me .0031…is this about average right now?
That’s sounds like the right ballpark, but don’t look at the MF in a vacuum. There’s over $20k in incentives on top of a generally healthy dealer discount.
Plus you can always do 10 MSDs to saw off a chunk of the rent charges.
What kind of dealer discount is common right now? Or what would be an “easy” discount to bargain for and what is the aggressive end of possible? Hopefully that makes sense–I am new to leases and this forum.
You should know what the buy rate is and then you can decide if any markup is compensated buy a large enough discount.
Hey @trism .0035 was what it ended up being for me - 30k in incentives was the final amount plus another 10% dealer discount on top
