After grinding down my own BMW lease, I’m helping my cousin get an X5 (I literally jumped off the couch when she told me she went in and was considering putting 5k down, and I’m not going to let that happen).
Only caveat is I’m trying make it as easy as possible, i.e – working with a dealer that’s close to her.
That being said, does anyone happen to have a go-to CA at Dreyer & Reinbold BMW, or a close by BMW dealer around Indianapolis, IN?
Good luck…
Dreyer Reinbold is the only Indy BMW dealer, and they negotiate like it. I got a quote from them for just 10% off MSRP on a 7k mile 5-series loaner, and less of a discount than that on an X5 loaner. When I pushed for 20%, they said that doesn’t happen here. Apparently there are enough buyers here willing to pay their high prices, cuz they seem to keep moving them.
Seriously!!! They literally just responded back with 4% off pre-incentive on NEW and 8% off retired loaners. Jesus. Thanks for the intel. At least I know not to waste any more time with them. I’m going to have to get my cousin to travel for a better deal. Wow and yeah, looking at the map, they have a monopoly on the BMW market.
Dreyer and Reinbold is garbage. I’ve had better luck negotiating with DeFouw BMW in Lafayette. They are about 65 northwest of Indianapolis, but they will talk to you without having to show them a briefcase full of cash and offering to fellate them.
10-4. Will check them out for sure. If you have a CA that is decent, I’m happy to take it and save 30 minutes of back and forth emails about getting the price lower.
He took over for the woman that I had dealt with in the past. I haven’t closed a deal with him, but he was responsive last time I asked for some information. Good luck.
