I have a 16 CX5 and its due on Feb 2020. I was wondering they could let me get a new one when I in the 6 months range. My lease is pretty good, $350 after taxes on a Grand Touring 18K/yr, and I am under allowance. I’m thinking a CX 9 for the next one.
No, but see if you can sell it. I sold mine to Vroom.
What is the determining factor for whether one qualifies for the Mazda pull ahead program?
Mazda will provide up to $1,000 toward Early Lease Termination Liability for Mazda Capital Services (MCS) lessees with maturities between 8/1/2019 through 2/1/2020 if they finance or lease a new 2019 Mazda CX-3, 2019 Mazda CX-5 (except for 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature Skyactiv®-D), or 2019 Mazda CX-9 with MCS. Lease Pull Ahead offer may be combined with public offers, including lease offers, customer cash back, and APR incentives/offers, Mazda Loyalty Reward and Mazda Military Appreciation Bonus Cash programs. Additional private incentives must specify combination with Lease Pull Ahead Offer. Mazda will pay a maximum of $1,000 of your final bill. Restrictions apply. No cash value. Must take retail delivery from dealer stock by 9/30/2019
So is it the lease maturity date that determine qualification? Our lease expires 2/11/2020.
Does this program lease maturity date change or is this a static date?
Thanks
@Tate16t This is the current pull ahead program that is good through the end of the month. Clearly states your lease must mature by 2/1/2020. Check again Oct 1st to see if it updated and if so what to.
Thanks for re-clarifying. I’m asking because we were looking at a new CX-5. We have about $1475 remaining to pay on our current lease and the dealer gave us an option to build that into a new lease, about $40 a month or pay it in full. We would likely pay it in full. With the current lease, we may go over on the mileage and will need to buy new tires prior to the end and getting out now will avoid these expenses. If we wait until next month might we qualify for the pull ahead? Are we just too early for pull ahead? What do you guys think?
Pull ahead doesn’t do you any good if you’re switching to BMW.
Unless you meant to say cx-5, in which case you’re too early for pull ahead. You need to wait until next month to see if the plan updates.
Have you gotten a quote from carvana/CarMax/shift/vroom on your current vehicle?
Yes, I meant CX-5, Thanks
I may try Vroom again. I just sold another car via Vroom and it was a good experience.
