Homeowners insurance is obscene. We have hurricane windows and still pay 4K.
Same that was part of my renovation and roof straps. It’s gone up every year. I’m at 4500/yr in this little house. So with a small mortgage payment of $400/mo I pay $1450. Obscene
Florida may or may not have written and enacted an insurance bill because of my dad. He definitely does not have that ridiculous beard anymore, though!

I’m moving out there in August from the LA area. Definitely looking forward to the lower cost of living.

Worst county in Florida to buy a home. everything I said about better value than northeast goes out the window.

I signed last November tax was $4800 and boom in 3 month it jumped to $53xx!! Insane!!
