Dodge charger, Is it just out of my price range?

2018 Dodge Charger SXT+
i am rolling in about 2000 from my old lease with mileage overage. so If I paid that separately the payment would be $510
500 seems way to high, but maybe this is just a car that’s out of my price range

**MSRP: $ $35,585

**Monthly Payment: $ 570
**Cash Due at Signing: $ 0
**Incentives: $4500
net capitalized cost is 35,628.92
**Months: 36
**Annual Mileage: 12k
**MF: 000.50
**Residual: 45%

**Region: Maryland, Mid atlantic I believe

Based on your net cap cost you’re getting essentially $0 dealer discount. This is an awful deal though

Terrible deal, a R/T would lease a bit better probably, challenger would lease better too. Ask for a breakdown of that cap cost it doesn’t look like you have much of a dealer discount if any…

that’s what I was thinking. They are only giving a rebate from dodge and not actually dealer discount

that’s what I said from looking at the dodge website they show the cheapest lease with 269 a month and 3k down on rt. so essentially 350 a month before tax and fees

I just purchased a 2018 charger gt from heritage. Drove in from NJ, was a great experience.

Didn’t lease it so don’t have the numbers, but I think they definitely beat all the other dealers in the area and they have a few sxts on the lot.

Happy to get you in contact with the sales manager If you would like.

at $510 you are at srt 392 money, the sxt even well loaded shouldnt be higher than 350, if you can afford $500 a month you should definitely check out the scat packs, possibly the best hp/$ ratio for a 4 door sedan. the residual values around this time of year are shot to sh*t for anything but a srt 392/hellcat in terms of charger trims.

thats what i was coming up with for a scat pack. thats why i figured i was getting screwed. i really wanna stay 300 a month preferably a gt

yes, please. I wouldnt be against purchasing. Im originally from nj also. could you post your numbers because thats what i was really looking for was a gt

The RV is bad for SXT. Got to get to at least GT or higher to get you around 54%+.

47% RV will cause you higher month payment but less buy out at the end of lease.

Always ask for the selling price exclude incentive/rebate then talk about incentive/rebate that you can get.

I live in NJ too, so update us on what you conquer.

Well the rv look only good on 24months. The gt is at 53 for 24mo and 45 for 36mo. Not sure what else to do to get this deal better

Man, dealers are unloading SXTs here in CA. I was shooting for $325 on an SRT396 but nobody is calling me back

I age, SRT392s have good residuals and low money factors while the Scats have a decent residual and an ugly money factor. You just have to find a dealer willing to discount it. Someone will bite because SRTs are much more rare than the scat pack do to the higher price.

Scat Pack 12k/36m MF is .00108, 51% residual with $4500 lease cash
SRT 12k/36m MFvis .00007 and 60% residual with no incentives

Yeah, I’m trying to work with the $12,750 IDL bonus cash but I can’t get anyone to tell me RV/MF for that route. I know they are probably both much worse than FCA. I have a $500 mailer from Dodge too but I also can’t figure out if that stacks with IDL.

I got such an amazing deal on a Jeep from a dealer in MD that I drove down from NJ to get it.

PM me for dealer info

Those are way out of my price range. Trying to stay at 300month if possible

How did you get the 500 dollar mailer?

I purchased a Ram in January '17 so I think it’s some kind of loyalty offer.

If your in the NJ area, I would either call heritage ( I can give you the sales managers info) or i would call barbera auto land in philly. Both have a number of chargers and seem to discount well.

IN terms of numbers for the finance, my brother is paying 440 with 5k down, but he had bad credit and is paying 6.2 % interest.

How flexible on 300? high 3s can probably get you a scat pack, depending on your states lease taxing situation, I have seen offers on swapalease for as low as $350 for a base scat pack, also depends on if you’re going to use it in an area with a rough winter (snow), the gt awd will be better for dealing with snow.
