It’s just a microwave. Imagine being told that it’s time to replace a 10 yo $20k+ HVAC system because “they don’t make them like before” lol
My microwave drama continues… Bought a toshiba from amazon, brand new, no dent, etc. YET, can’t sit level on my countertop. Order a replacement, same thing, albeit slightly less wobbly than the 1st one. Urrgh, return both and hopefully get a better luck with panasonic.
Are you still living in the 20th century? Sharp, Toshiba lol
Panasonic is always good, though.
Nahh, the Mrs will not get over it ![]()
I’ve contacted three locksmiths in three days, and so far zero responses.
“Not a customer”. They have their own WhatsApp group, just like our brokers ![]()
Haha, COSTCO $78 for a hair brush??? Probably a lot more anywhere else.
Are they NUTS? Does it GROW hair after brushing…even then it’s waaaaay too much…
But WAIT, there is a HACK-if you wait a few weeks it will be cheaper.
ask them to pay for the transfer fee and 0 DAS

Work was completed today.
The technician who came over this morning said the woman who quoted me was crazy, and her estimate was 50% ($200) too high.
I thought she was crazy too, but I was sick of chasing locksmiths and was willing to pay a premium to be done.
It’s Friday afternoon. I started this journey on… Monday?
In the defective parts department, we have a massively overpriced built -in refrigerator ($8000 Kitchen Aid) that failed after 7-8 years. I found a company that took the memory board I sent them and replaced a $2 capacitor and FedExEd it back for about $100. It’s still going after 10 more years. What’s annoying is that it’s a known issue and KA did nothing about it. It’s almost like they’d rather have me buy another one ![]()
I remember we have to get my parent’s 2nd gen rav4 ECU modified from someone on ebay because it affects the transmission. Toyota doesn’t really care since the issue will start showing up well past their warranty period.
For the rant, what’s up with all these Indonesian bots targeting this forum ![]()
Went to CA Central Coast for a day and filled up Hydrogen in Santa Barbara… the pump showed a fill of 4.24kg at 2pm and a 4.95kg at 9pm. I took photos before I pumped and both times car was just below half full (5.5kg full tanks) So the pump overcharged almost double both times. Right after the 2pm charge I called True Zero and they said to call back after 4pm as they can see the logs blah blah. I called back and they said they’ll look into it and call me back-I told them I would be filling up on my way back and see if it does it again, long and behold, it did. I called back 9pm to inform that same thing happened and was told to call back during regular business hours.
Yesterday I called again and they said someone would call me back, they did, and said nothing they can do as logs show fuel/charges were correct. I called the bank that handles the Toyota Fuel Card and they said they can’t do anything and to call Toyota haha not wasting time on that. Today I submitted a complaint to Santa Barbara weights and measures so they can check out this station for leaks, fuel loss etc. In a FB group someone else said same thing happened to them couple weeks ago… will see what the outcome is, first time this happened BTW on a Hydrogen Fueling station, and today Pump is offline since last night.
funny part is 2pm didn’t even FILL UP the tank lol
TL;DR version:
The user experienced apparent overcharging at a True Zero hydrogen fueling station in Santa Barbara, where the pump recorded dispensing 4.24 kg and 4.95 kg of hydrogen despite the car’s tank being nearly half full both times (total capacity 5.5 kg). After both True Zero and the fuel card bank denied any issues, the user filed a complaint with the Santa Barbara Weights and Measures department, noting that another driver reported the same problem and the pump has since gone offline.
Every year my dreams move further away from reality….
Basically this impacts the used market too I would imagine and any sort of realistic ownership of a 997.2 or 991.1 goes bye bye.
What I don’t understand is that at these higher end smaller units, the Germans aren’t known for their theatrics and upstream market pushes their core audience buyers to what Macans and Cayennes only since they are too old to get in and out of 911s?
Go-to should only be hyphenated if it’s used as an adjective, but even as an adjective it’s a pretty stupid phrase. Using the phrase as a noun appears to closely correlate with illiteracy.
Improperly using ask as a noun seems to be on the decline, and I think only the dimmest of mouth breathers are still saying “100%” in lieu of a host of different affirmatives.

Disagree on ‘go-to’ and ‘ask’ which probably fully supports your hypothesis.
